About
Marina Visic (b. 1987) works by researching the way texture and movement are incorporated into the realm of film. Since film reexamines bodily experience while providing a sense of confusion and fascination, it is important to stage these as well as the scale of the image and its relationship to the body. Visic’s works are always presented as objects in motion rather than as narrative. The early stages of the process involve a lot of transformation, moving between the virtual and the real world, transforming the world into one in which everyday objects come into the spotlight and the virtual reveals form.
Marina currently lives and works in Roermond, The Netherlands.
